LiveOnTheGo.com is the free online service that makes it easy for you to order and pay for take out in advance from local restaurants, and have it ready when you want without waiting on the phone, waiting in line or waiting to pay. You simply order with just a few clicks via the Web, your PDA or your Web-enabled cell phone. With our online community of over 200 restaurant partners, you have access to a wide variety of meals and cuisines literally at your fingertips, so you can have a quality dining experience no matter how busy or hectic your day.
Does LiveOnTheGo.com charge a fee for ordering take out?
No. LiveOnTheGo.com is a FREE service. You pay the same amount the restaurant would charge you if you ordered from them directly.
Our restaurant partners, however, do pay a nominal per-order fee to participate in our service. They realize the value of being able to offer their customers a convenient, easy way to order and pay for take out online, and have a freshly prepared meal ready at a specified pickup time.
How does LiveOnTheGo.com differ from delivery services?
LiveOnTheGo.com is NOT a delivery service. We make the process of ordering and paying for take out simple and hassle-free, and provide you with fresh food fast. For those times when delivery is absolutely necessary, you can have your order delivered from some of our restaurant partners it’s easy to search our site for restaurants that offer delivery directly to your location. This way you don’t have to worry about a third-party driver having access to your food or how long your food has been in a keep-warm Styrofoam container because eight different orders were picked up and dropped off before yours got delivered.

Why should I use LiveOnTheGo.com instead of calling the restaurant?

What is curbside take-away and how does it work?
Curbside take-away offers another level of convenience. Instead of having to park and get out of your car to pick up your take out order, you simply call the restaurant when you arrive, and pull into in a designated section of the parking lot. In minutes, someone from the restaurant brings your order out to you. This time-saving service makes it even easier for you to get the fresh food you want, when you want it.

Sure. We’re always happy to welcome new restaurants to our service. After you sign up for LiveOnTheGo.com, you’ll receive a welcome email, which includes a link that lets you suggest your favorite restaurants. Or you can click the “Suggest a Restaurant” link on our site. We have a high success rate of signing up requested restaurants, and feel free to tell your favorite restaurants about our convenient service, too.

Yes, our plans include expansion into other counties and regions. Our system is designed in a way to allow us to expand quickly. Where did the idea for LiveOnTheGo.com come from?
Like so many great services, it came out of personal need. One of our founders had worked all night on a business transaction. While getting ready for an early morning meeting, he was in desperate need of a cup of coffee, but realized that he would not be able to stop at the local coffee house because there wouldn’t be enough time to find a parking space, wait in line to order and pay, and then wait for the coffee to be prepared. He thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if we could order and pay for coffee in advance, and have it ready when we want?” Later that day, he discussed the concept with our President, who replied, “I personally don’t drink coffee, but I hate standing in line. Wouldn’t it be great if coffee houses and restaurants had such a service?” And LiveOnTheGo.com was conceived. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
